Foxtrot Charlie Pilots arrive in Germany

We just made it to the, very nice, van der Volk hotel in Gladbeck. Flight was on time and all luggage arrived safely. Andy Cayton was on our flight. His co-pilot is a dual U.S. and German citizen and is already here. Copilot arranged all the German details for their team. Astrid met us at the gate and drove us to the rental car office. She is loaning us radio, transponder, night lights, solar panel, batteries and maps.

We have a HUGE van, with, thank god, a GPS that can display in English. And thank heavens for Astrid! Pic of van to follow. 87degF here. WX may turn bad just at launch time. Oh, well. Still 3 days for things to change again. Time for a nap.
