Gordon Bennett folks have confirmed the arrival of the Foxtrot Charlie balloon system in Germany. The entire system, gondola, envelope, valve, sandbags and more weighing approximately 700 pounds left Albuquerque in late August traveling by truck to Dallas, then by cargo plane to Germany. Once the Gordon Bennett flight is completed, the team will have to quickly return to the system to Germany for re-packing and shipping back to the United States in order to participate in the 2016 America's Challenge event which begins on Oct 5.
